Since 2001 ,

the Intercommunale School of Music works in close collaboration with the National School of Lutherie by welcoming future violin makers in the classes of string instruments.

The pupils are active in the music school life by integrating themselves into various vocal or instrumental groups, in particular the string orchestra class.

To celebrate 50 years of the National School of Lutherie,

the Intercommunale School of Music is associated with this beautiful event by proposing a musical creation played and interpreted by all the violin and bow makers present gathered in a large string ensemble, under the direction of Valérie Deybach.

The Communauté de Communes Mirecourt Dompaire has has commissioned composer and musician

Claude Georgel (Ensemble XXI.n) for a special work specifically dedicated to this anniversary.

The work entitled "Fifty fifty!" is in 2 chained parts (one fast and the other slower).

Lasting about 8 minutes, it will be worked, played and proposed in public in the moment!
